Two is better than one

What is Two is better than one song?

“Two Is Better Than One” is a song by the American rock band Boys Like Girls from their second studio album Love Drunk (2009). The song features American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. It was written by Martin Johnson and Swift and the song is the band’s second official single from the album. On some advanced copies of the album sent to reviewers and members of the press, the song does not feature Swift, rather, Johnson handles all vocals. The song is written in the key of C major with a slow tempo of 128 beats per minute.

What is the meaning of this song?

According to my research for someone, Two is Better than One…” For my own judgment of this song, I perceive a sad man singing this song realizing how good his life will be if he has not got himself into a relationship. On the Chorus it says, “maybe its true, that I cant live without you”, I can imagine a guy who is inlove with his girl but thinks that he is better to be alone in order to grow and find more opportunity out there to improve! Its not about a third party but something to do with the psychological nature of a guy who wants to be a man but cannot prove himself because he is always with his girl, obsessed maybe or it has something to do with the girl.

“There’s so much time, to figure out the rest of my life
And you’ve already got me coming undone”
>> In here, you see the guy realizing the fact that he can do more in his life but the girl seems to insist that he is better with her forever over which I believe is wrong thinking of a girl. A man needs to improve himself and not to be stuck up with anyone else, he needs to become mature and gain his respect for himself to be happy. Its not always about love, it has something to do with the emotional behavior of a guy dealing with the reality and not only just fantasy.”
